YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a gentle, grounding practice, poses are held for several minutes, allowing muscles to soften and deeper connective tissues to release. Over time our habitual movements can create tension that eventually becomes hard to release.

Yin Yoga offers a gradual and sustained release that improves flexibility, increases circulation, and restores range of motion. This practice calms the nervous system and quiets the mind. A Yin Yoga session will leave you feeling like you’ve just had a massage.

 

KUNDALINI YOGA

Kundalini Yoga combines Pranayama, Mantra and Meditation, to awaken vitality and bring the energy centers into balance.

The dynamic Yoga Kriyas build flexibility, strength, and hormonal harmony, while reducing cortisol levels.

Pranayama, is the regulation of the breath through specific techniques, it enhances lung capacity, circulation, and improves cognitive function.

Mantra is a word, or sound repeated, it offers a point of mental focus during meditation, in Sanskrit, “man” means mind “tra” means release.

Kundalini, in Sanskrit Kundal meaning "coiled," refers to a spiritual energy or life force said to reside at the base of the spine, as described in the Yoga Upanishads.

With roots that trace back thousands of years Kundalini Yoga is an ancient practice to awaken energy and clear stagnancy along the way. When the body releases tension and the mind settles, we tune into the heart. When we listen to our hearts, we hear the infinite wisdom within.

 

MEDITATION

Like a bird flying from valley to mountaintop, Meditation expands perspective and awareness.

Even a few sessions a week can reduce anxiety and improve focus while generating a lasting sense of inner peace. Studies show regular meditation lowers the stress response, by reducing cortisol and boosting melatonin and endorphins, our natural mood enhancers.

Meditation helps us to respond, rather than react.

With practice, we feel more grounded, no matter what life brings.

With regular practice, you'll feel more energized and centered. My style of training is inviting for beginners and healing for advanced partitioners. I believe in creating a lasting fitness routine that becomes a seamless part of your lifestyle.
